Adjust Battery Charger Voltage

Adjusting battery charger voltages for new Caterpillar batteries

Caterpillar has a new type of battery available that requires a higher-than-normal float and equalize voltage settings. When using these new batteries, the float voltage should be set at 2.3V per cell and the equalize voltage should be set at 2.5V per cell.

The battery model numbers are:

9X9730 (4D)
9X9720 (4D) and
101-4000 (8D)

If you know you will be using these batteries prior to purchasing the battery charger, please let us and we will make sure the appropriate voltage settings are set.
